Practical nursing, ADN or BSN?

Am planning on going back to nursing school in 2 years or so. I was in the BSN program back in 08 but I stopped Because it became overwhelming and I developed depression and anxiety. So I graduated with a bs in another field. I just completed a cna course and I take my board exam in July. My question is, should I start off doing practical nursing first and just re work my way back up or should I re enroll in a BSN or adn program? Plan is to work as a cna get experience so I can be more confident and not be so overwhelmed. Also so I can get with a union and have them finance my costs to go back to school. And is starting off as a pn first and working then going for my RN the thing to do considering what I went through in my past? Thanks
